Dr. Valerie Assinewe
President
Valerie Assinewe, Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Ottawa, was born and raised in Sagamok, a First Nations community on the shore of the North Channel of Lake Huron. She has worked for thirty-five years with Aboriginal organizations in research and communications; delivering and administering social development programs for the federal government; and, as a consultant on environment issues and organizational development with Aboriginal groups.
Dr. Assinewe is currently President of Stonecircle Consulting.
